Editorial method

A source is not a test, and a conclusion is not a measurement.

We attribute each measurement to the person who made it, preserve useful conditions and state what the available material cannot establish.

We have not yet published a first-hand Four à Nu product test. When that changes, the protocol, measurements and limits will be explicit.

01

Five evidence labels

FAB is manufacturer data; T-MES is a published third-party measurement; T-OBS is a published third-party observation; FAN-SYN combines compatible sources; FAN-INF is our reasoned editorial conclusion.

  • Claims stay attributed
  • Timecodes and conditions stay attached
  • Incompatible methods are not merged
  • Uncertainty remains visible
02

Independent comparison

A solid general comparison needs at least two independent, compatible sources. With only one source, we describe an example rather than a universal rule.

03

Images and commercial links

An image illustrates; it does not prove performance. Loans, sponsorships, affiliate links and merchant relationships are disclosed without automatically validating or invalidating a source.

04

Corrections

Material corrections are dated and explain their effect on the buying conclusion. Catalogue data and links are rechecked when an article is updated.
