Three choices, depending on the control you want

To start with a well-equipped box, I would look at the Cuisinart CPZ120E. For pizza and other uses with more presets, I would shortlist the Volt 2. The Sage Pizzaiolo BPZ820 gets my preference when independent control of stone and upper heat is the reason for buying.

All three are indoor electric ovens. Our preferences come from documented functions and supplied accessories. They are not a baking ranking: the third-party reviews do not form a common three-way comparison.

What you are actually paying for

Sources: Cuisinart CPZ120E, Ooni Volt 2 and Sage BPZ820. The Volt’s 450°C does not establish better pizza than a 400°C oven: maximum temperature, upper/lower balance and recipe are separate questions.

The extra cost should buy a function you will use

The recorded difference from Cuisinart to Volt is €199.10; from Volt to Sage, it is €230.90. I would not pay either amount for another adjective on a product page. I would first write down the need: straightforward baking, non-pizza modes or independent adjustment of the top and base.

The Cuisinart avoids immediately buying a peel and deep pan. Its guide also explains why the ready light alone does not reveal the state of the stone. It better suits someone willing to preheat ahead than someone wanting very precise adjustments.

The Volt 2 allows mode changes beyond pizza. Its official list includes a rack but no peel: reuse a compatible tool or add one to the budget. Do not count an accessory twice if you already own it.

The Sage mainly justifies its premium through manual control. Adjusting upper heat separately from the stone matters if you want to work on your settings. If you always select the same programme, that advantage may remain unused.

The kitchen makes its own shortlist

Ooni publishes 54.5 × 44.2 × 26.3 cm for the unpacked Volt 2; Sage publishes 46.1 × 47.2 × 27 cm. These are appliance dimensions. Add the open door and the manual’s clearances before deciding that an oven fits under a cupboard or in a worktop corner. The Cuisinart page checked does not provide a usable exterior size: confirm it in its documentation before buying.

The Volt’s weight also reminds us that an appliance can be storable without being convenient to move regularly. For all three, I would reserve preparation space in front and storage for the peel and pans. Removing a gas cylinder does not remove the need for space.

The basket I would approve

Start with the oven whose controls meet your needs. Cross out included accessories, then add only missing equipment to the first-installation budget. Rated wattage alone does not tell you an evening’s electricity use: duration and regulation affect consumption.

I would keep Cuisinart for a simple, equipped start, Volt for its range of modes and Sage to adjust heat distribution. If none of those advantages matches how you cook, keep your current equipment while you clarify the need.
